1. The revelation(啟示) of the Bible is the economy of the Triune God
   聖經的啟示乃是三一神的經綸(管理家庭的原則)
   economy or plan: oikonomia(Greek), house law, household management or administration
   *1, Eph. 1:10
   Unto the economy of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ,
   the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him;
   神的經綸就是: 於各世代神的安排都完成之後, 在基督裡領導萬物
   God's economy is to head up all things in Him at the fullness of times
   fullness of times
   after all the dispensations of God(神的安排) in all the ages are completed.
   four ages
   1) the age of sin(Adam)
   2) the age of law(Moses)
   3) the age of grace(Christ)
   4) the age of kingdom(the millennium)
   *2, Eph. 3:9
   and to enlighten all that they may see what the economy of the mystery is,
   which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things.
   mystery
   God's hidden purpose, which is to dispense Himself into His chosen people.
   神的奧秘即是將祂自己, 分賜到所揀選的人裡面去
   *3, 1 Tim. 1:4
   Nor to give heed(留心, 注意) to myths and unending genealogies(無窮的家譜),
   which produce questionings(爭論) rather than God's economy, which is in faith.
   鑽研myths與歷史的時間不能比讀神的話來得少
   神的經綸 才是最重要的

   The centrality and universality of God's economy is the Christ as the
   embodiment(具體化) of the Triune God.
   神經綸的中心與普及, 乃是基督為三一神的具體化身
   *1, Col. 2:9
   For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
   神格一切的豐滿 都有形有體的居住在基督裡
   fullness
   the fullness of the Godhead(refers to deity神性of God)
   is the expression of the riches of God
   When the riches of God are in God Himself, they are His riches.
   When the riches of God are expressed, they become His fullness.
   *2, Col. 1:15-19
   亞當為舊造(second creation)之首 基督(末後的亞當)為新造之首(third creation, 基督徒)
   body
   v.18a"And He is the head of the Body, the church"
   身體就是召會
   *3, John. 1:18
   No one has ever seen God; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father,
   He has declared Him.
   子藉五件事 彰顯出神的形象
   five realizations
   1. 話 Word is God expressed
   2. 生命 Life is God imparted
   3. 光 Light is God shinning
   4. 恩典 Grace is God enjoyed
   5. 實際 Reality is God realized, apprehended
   two groups
   八大人物 與 兩大族類
   1. the created race: Adam, Abel, Enoch, Noah
   2. the called race: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph

   The motive of God's creation was to fulfill God's desire
   神創造的動機乃是要完成祂的心願
